Welcome to Montpelier Dental Care

COVID-19 - A message to our patients

Firstly, we would like to thank you for all your continued support during these difficult past few months, and we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and well.

We are writing to inform you that the governments announcement on Saturday 31st October does not apply to dentistry. We are very much open and looking forward to welcoming you to the surgery for your appointments.

Whilst we understand you may be apprehensive to attend your appointments, we want to reassure you that we are confident the steps we have taken, and are continuing to take, will help protect our patients and staff from COVID-19. You are being treated in a very safe environment with the same levels of PPE (personal protective equipment) worn by hospital staff with rigorous infection control measures in place. There are no restrictions with regards to medical treatment and you are actively encouraged to keep your appointments.

If you are worried about your attendance please contact our reception team on 01273 733901 to discuss your concerns.

When you arrive:

  • We advise that you wear a mask at all times while inside the dental practice and only remove your mask at the request of the dental professional. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early for an appointment due to social distancing guidelines.
  • As you enter the building we will provide you with alcohol sanitiser to disinfectant your hands.
  • The treatment rooms will be prepared prior to your appointment with all surfaces disinfected after each patient. We have sourced PPE and unlike the start of the Pandemic (March 2020), there is no shortage.

Please do not be concerned as we continue to maintain high standards of cross infection control.

We shall continue to provide the community with dentistry during this difficult time and look forward to seeing you for your next appointment.

Kind Regards,

Charlotte Robertson (Practice Manager)

From preventative care to tooth replacement, we recognise that each patient has their own individual dental needs. As caring health professionals we have a duty and a desire to create a positive relationship between each individual patient and our highly skilled dental team.

We strive to create an environment in which every patient is fully informed about their dental health, and in which they feel comfortable enough with the team to discuss any aspect of their care.

We strongly believe that dental care should be patient centred with a strong focus on prevention and minimally invasive treatment. We aim for our patients to find trust in our care and appreciate our intuitive, gentle touch.

Testimonial

"I have a real phobia of dentists but heard great things about this one so went along. The dentist is absoultely amazing and has a great way of making you feel at ease. She talked me through the different treatments and has been great during this process. The hygienist is also great. I no longer feel scared going to the dentist!."

Our range of treatments

  • Preventative and Routine Dentistry

Regular examinations or check ups help us to diagnose problems early, and deliver necessary treatment as quickly as possible.

We also provide advice on how to look after your mouth and teeth and take time to answer any questions or worries that you may have. Patients often ask how frequently they should attend for check up appointments.

  • Sedation

Many people become anxious about visiting the dentist, and for some this can make dental treatment very difficult. At Montpelier Dental Care we are able to offer conscious sedation to patients who are unable to tolerate treatment whilst awake.

Our sedationist works alongside our dentists to provide sedation services at the practice, ensuring patients are comfortable and relaxed during their treatment, with some even falling asleep and remembering very little afterwards.

  • Implants

Implantology is an advanced dental procedure to replace a single missing tooth or multiple missing teeth.Implants are a popular choice for those patients who are looking for an alternative to a denture. It is important to know that once an implant is placed it can support future dental appliances such as bridges. Once the implant has been placed it will look and function like natural teeth.

  • Cosmetic Dentistry

At Montpelier Dental Care we know how important it is to be happy and confident with your smile. This is why all of our dentists are able to provide cosmetic treatment to improve the appearance of your teeth.

The treatments we offer vary in complexity from simple whitening to give you a brighter smile, to full smile makeovers which can change the shape and appearance of teeth.
